Barbara Lee Corruption Investigation Results and/or Ethically Deficiencies Found:
Paybacks:
According to The Seattle Times, Barbara Lee rewarded Ployplus Battery Co with one $800,000 taxpayer financed earmark and another $3,485,000 earmark (ref: omb.gov) in the 2008 cycle after donation receipt of $1800.
Unfortunately for the Army, they did not request these funds which meant that the Pentagon was forced to divert money from defense department desired projects over to Barbara Lee's pet project.
