Paybacks: Bennett, like many of his colleagues, uses his power to reward campaign donors with taxpayer money. The Seattle Times, Bennet rewarded $3000 campaign donor Brush Wellman Inc (an Ohio company) with a $10.7 Million 2008 earmark. He funneled another $10 Million through a 2008 earmark to Alliant Techsystems Inc after receiving $8000 in donations.
